Buying Bees from Bloomfield Honey Farm
If you are interested in purchasing northern climate, non-medicated bees, from Bloomfield Honey Farm, we are now taking deposits.

Queens: The price for a queen will be $30.00 in the spring of 2012. If you want her marked, please add $2.00. We can provide an instruction sheet on how to introduce your new queen to the hive. The queens will be ready in late May/early June - Pickups will be scheduled based on when deposits are received - First come, first served. Deposit required: $10/queen.

Nucs: SOLD OUT FOR 2012
The price for a nuc will be $135.00 in the spring of 2012. This includes bees, brood, comb, honey, pollen and a laying queen in a 5 frame cardboard nuc box. (The box is wax coated, and you can re-use it for making splits or catching swarms.) We do not use antibiotics or miticides; the nucs are produced from our survivor stock. We do NOT order queens from other breeders for our nucs. (If you want the queen marked, please add $2.00.) Deposit required: $25/nuc.
You can order medium (6-5/8") or deep (9-5/8") nucs, depending on your needs - the price is the same for either. (Some folks run all medium boxes, because the deep boxes are so heavy when full).If you'd like to order bees from Bloomfield Honey Farm, please provide the following:
